Barry Park and Big Rocky Point at Night
PORT STEPHENS
Over the last two nights the skies have been clear. I have to admit I love clouds. And rain. So as a photographer I am normally endlessly frustrated to see a clear sky. But there has been no moon in the last few days so I thought I'd get out to take some photos of the stars. Initially I was incredibly frustrated. I couldn't remember the settings I had used last time and I couldn't make any shots work. But eventually it all came back to me (and showed me the value of regularly practicing what i have learned so I don't forget so easily.
Mind you I think walking around the Tomaree National Park in the dark around midnight had me at the edge of my comfort zone. What is it with all the people who sit in their cars in random spots in the dark? And if that didn't the literally hundreds of spiders spinning webs all around me absolutely did. But I'm glad I went. Click on the photos below for the full image. Enjoy.
