Moonrise over Box Beach last night - absolutely spectacular! I'd forgotten how peaceful it is to be on a beach in the dark, no one else around. Even better was sitting in the sand like a three-year-old. I had started the evening trying to stay sand-free but after twenty minutes of twisting and contorting to get the right angle and see through the lens (which was a knee height) I gave up and plonked down. I felt like that filthy dirty little kid who is totally oblivious and hasn't got a care in the world! Admittedly I was slightly regretting my decisions when I had to get back in the car to go home but hey, it was an hour or so of carefree bliss.
