Ok so I didn't really go out and paint the rocks at One Mile. But it was such a windy day I thought it might be a good day to pick up a brush again. This one is taken from a photo of the rock cliffs at the southern end of One Mile Beach in Tomaree National Park. I did start it a couple of months ago (background colours) but I haven't had the chance to get back to it. If I think about what my ideal life looks like it would be working two or three days a week in a day job and then painting and taking photos two or three days a week. It never really works out like that though. But today I had the chance to combine two of my great loves: painting and photography. Using the Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS Lens with the Sony A7RV was just brilliant. And I feel like the little details in the paint could be art of themselves. Anyway, another painting done and drying (I really should spend a day putting a protective coating on a few of them). Acrylic on canvas 510x765mm. Suggestions for the next one?
