Unexpected Starry Scenes
SHOAL BAY, PORT STEPHENS
And if you've read my last post this was the photo I didn't expect. Walking back from the point at Shoal Bay I had assumed it was time for home. I stopped to take one last shot of the colour in the sky and instead found stars. Now I will admit it is hard to take a photo of the stars with the bright lights of town in the foreground and a nearly full moon behind me but they were throwing enough light into the night sky to pick up the southern cross. A really good reminder for me to take that time for self care and do the things I love.
