There are so many little creeks and ponds around Port Stephens I think I could explore them forever and not get any closer to seeing all of them. Right now I have to admit I am looking for places to photograph the night sky and I'm finding it's not easy! Lining up the orientation of the Milky Way with the body of water or reflective surface at a time when the moon isn't providing too much light and at a time and location when the background light from civilisation isn't too glary AND there are no clouds in the sky.... I'm starting to think it might take a minor miracle. Not to mention that I really should have a new lens for this one - I'm considering the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM Lens to go with the Sony alpha 7RIII. I think I'll need to save. We'll see how it goes - keep watching this space. This creek might be a candidate. I'll post photos as soon as I manage to get the planets to literally align......
