So how badly do you want that help? There didn't look to be any appealing way to get to the life ring at Boat Harbour this week. Surrounded by water and pummelled by waves I think I'd have to have a long hard think about how badly I needed it before trying to get over to it. But then asking for help can sometimes feel a bit like that. Not great where you are, not looking terribly safe when you weigh up your options. I guess if I was to be knocked into that surf I would want that life ring so sometimes you just have to let go and jump.
